Ms. Ashworth is a registered nurse, midwife and highly skilled health care leader who has been in the public and not for profit health sector for over 38years. She has had experience in a range of organisations from small rural to large tertiary centres across three states of Australia. Ms Ashworth has been actively involved in clinical quality and risk management and was a nominated member of the Victorian Quality Council (VQC) from 2008 – 2012. Since 2013 she has been an assessor for the Australian Council of Health Care Standards (ACHS) and continues to assess health services across the country. She held an appointment with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Authority (AHPRA) as an approved panel member for hearings for 6 years. Ms. Ashworth is passionate about high standards of care for our most vulnerable including those involved in the disability sector
